The Centre for Training and Development, Aducate, at the University of Eastern Finland offers academic continuing education that is available through various educational institutions across Finland. You can complete studies in the fields of social welfare, health care, pharmacy, nutrition, education, environmental and forest sciences, business, and law.
Aducate was born through the joining of forces of the Continuing Education Centre of the University of Joensuu, the Centre for Training and Development of the University of Kuopio, and the Savonlinna Centre for Continuing Education and Regional Development.

The Open University offers you opportunities for supplementing your existing studies and deepening your expertise. The Open University of the University of Eastern Finland operates on the Joensuu and Kuopio campuses. The Open University constitutes part of the University’s Centre for Training and Development, Aducate.

UEF Doctoral School
The postgraduate education offered by the University of Eastern Finland meets high standards and the university's research careers are attractive.
