Learning outcomes: The students will
- have a clear view of the current international research and development trends in the field of lifelong learning
- recognize the interplay of policy, practice and research fields
- be able to recognize cultural differences in these fields
The course is based on group work, where international student groups search information about latest research, policy or development themes within the field of Lifelong Learning in different countries, analyze this information and present the results in a seminar.
Modes of Study: Active participation in seminar 10 hours, group work 20 hours and individual work 105 hours.
Study Materials: Latest research and publications, policy documents or development themes within the field of Lifelong Learning in different countries.
Assessment: 0-5, based on the quality of
a) preliminary assignment and individual learning diary,
b) the group essay (which includes short individual sub-essays) and
c) the seminar presentation.
